Fantastic experience with Motor One Autobody. Great to deal with, their customer service/care is brilliant, my car... wasn’t in as long as anticipated which was great. Being able to pick it up after hours was a huge bonus when working full time. My car had been washed and wiped down inside too which was a lovely surprise. Highly recommendedread more

My car was put in on the 5th of September and was fixed by the 11th which was its estimated completion date. The... service was great and I was shown what had been done when I arrived to collect my car. It’s as good as new and I am very happy with the outcome. Thank you for the good experience.read more

These guys did a great job fixing up my front bumper. Great finish on it and I felt they looked after it really well.... Only issue I had was they didn't plug my front bumper camera in before giving it back, nor answer my email when I asked then if they had removed it in the first place.read more

Had my daughter's car repaired there 12 months ago after another car had side swiped her "parked" car (without leaving... a note). Anyway, Suncorp Insurance advised me, to go to Motor One for repair.So, after a week in their shop, I picked up the car. Had a quick look, all seemed fine. Left, drove to the Plaza. Came out to find the rear qtr panel (that should have been repaired) had a scratch through it.Took it straight back to find, after checking photos, this scratch was never repaired, although in the quote.So, they apologised and arranged for the repair straight away.All good, or so I thought. Last week my daughter closes her drivers door and the mirror cover falls off. On closer inspection, this was the old mirror cover (supposed to be replaced 12 mths earlier) sixaflexed back on.Called Suncorp, booked back in again at Motor One tomorrow.Now today, whilst cleaning car out, I notice on the rear qtr panel (repaired hastily last year), the paint has bubbled. Does this suggest the area was not prepped properly after they missed it the first time!read more

The panel repair completed on my car was quality, however I unfortunately wasn't able to drive my car away as there was... an engine fault and my car would only drive above 10km/hr. They did an engine check and was told it could be multiple things. I was informed they didn't know and that they would leave my car outside and that if my car was still there on Monday morning they would look at it again. Making it my issue if I needed my car over the weekend. I had to arrange a mechanic to come have a look at my car and determine what was the issue. There were rodents that had chewed though the fuel injector wiring while my car had been parked on their property this to be fixed by a mechanic before I was able to drive my car out of the carpark where they left my car. I had to sort it out a problem that only occurred while my car had been in their care. Even though my car was in perfect working order and had a recent service, when dropping the car off to have a panel replaced. Not happy with how this situation was handled by the team.read more

Possibly the worst communication I've ever seen for a professional business. Took 4 weeks to respond for an urgent... paint repair just to be told they are not doing the work. Do people not comprehend the meaning of urgent or the fact my paint was peeling and causing rust. I could have sorted this out weeks ago but was told originally to wait for a quote as they would be happy to complete the work.read more

I was impressed with the front desk customer service .I was kept fully informed by text message regarding the progress... of the work.The business obviously have good systems in place as everyone new who I was ,why I was there and the work that was to be done.I was pleasantly surprised to see the car had been polished and the tyres blackened despite the minor bumper repair .Touch up paint also supplied in a little bottle.read more

EDIT: Have just been informed by my insurer that the original tow truck company has not released my vehicle to Youi’s... tow company. However Meredith told me on the phone that my vehicle had been assessed by Mark and was currently with the estimator’s to work out the cost of the repairs to my vehicle. How is this possible if my vehicle isn’t even in your possession yet? Blatant lies from your reception staff, not looking very good.Absolutely disgusted with the phone manner from your reception lady, Meredith. My car was involved in a not at fault accident and my insurer (Youi) told me I was able to call MotorOne for an update on the assessment - so I did. Meredith was incredibly rude and condescending. I was only calling through to get an update on the outcome of the assessment, and then find out when the estimation of the repairs would be complete.I’ve never been in this situation before and have no idea what the process is. I understand that you’re a busy company, and maybe she was having a stressful day, but if you want clients to have trust in your company, I hope you understand the front line of communication is your people answering the phone. And this doesn’t instill any trust in your company at all. I do not appreciate Meredith making me feel like a burden for wanting to know what the outcome is. Please train your phone staff better. I hope the actual result of your assessment of my vehicle is better than this experience.read more

Very impressed with the operation at Warana. Was a bit hard to find as the location at the time was over-shadowed by... the Planet Smash Repairs signage until you're almost at the office door.They took care of rear-end damage through a no-fault Suncorp Insurance claim. Within a few minutes of us dropping our vehicle off, the damage was inspected and assessed with a general estimate of a timeframe provided, subject to delivery of parts from Sydney if required.The office staff were very efficient and friendly and arranged transport from the Warana workshop to the Hertz rental car place back up the 'Coast.Repairs were completed in less than a week (sooner than the estimated time), and the office again arranged for transport from Hertz back to their workshop to pick up the repaired vehicle – cleaned and looking like new.Couldn't expect any better!read more

Im not normally one to leave negative reviews but I left this place dismayed and frustrated.Was told waiting on parts... for over 12 months before i suggested to manually repair it, at which point I had to call the insurance company and organise it.Only did half the repair because 'that's all they quoted'. Then blamed me, news flash. Consumers don't see the quote you send them to the insurance companies.More over there was no thought process like oh what's this damage ? and communication. Tried to blame me and the insurance company for there lack of attention to detail.read more

Had some issues with painting on my xr6 turbo Ute. Company came to the party and re- did the cab. Since then the other... work has disintegrated ( for want of another term) as per photos. I have gone back to them to see what they can do but have not as yet received a response. Given time since work was originally done (5-6) years it may be somewhat unfair to finally judge unless, or until, they respond to my email.read more

I came here for a quote which was a private quote that was going to become a insurance quote, they expected me to pay... $20 for the quote. Then after hearing that it was going to go through insurance they told me not to worry about the quote cause I only need one, insurance company insisted that I got 3 quotes so I returned and they just dismissed me without reason and simply said no....Do not recommendread more

This was not the result I was looking for. To begin, it took a day longer then originally estimated. Then, upon pick... up, the car was returned to me in a dirty condition. I found sticky residue from the protection foil in several spots. One part has been overlooked and should have been replaced as well due to damage. Forgetful mishaps showed they did a quick job rather than thorough. My biggest frustration was the back seat window malfunctioned on return. When I called to ask about it, they claimed it could not have been their fault. However, after a lot of hassle, and seeking another company, I found they unplugged the electric connection from that door, and did not properly reconnect it. So in fact, was their fault and showed a sloppy job done. I would never choose this garage for any type of service again.read more

This is just feedback to help those choosing their repairer. I am not saying planet smash repairers are a bad company... but I personally haven’t had a good experience.First they did not do a quality paint job. After 2 years it is faded badly where they did the repair compared to the rest of my car and I’ve had the car for 8years.I have scheduled to come back to them, travelled all the way from Brisbane and took work off to get there and be told the hire car wasn’t booked (which I needed badly to get around for 2 days) and that I will just need to rebook my appointment. Which is not easy to do living away, working full time and having other commitments just like everyone does... and now I’ve wasted my time and leave from work on something that should have been done properly the first time anyway.I would be careful booking paint work here and just ensure you clarify all the details when you make a booking to save any confusion or to pick up on errors. The team are nice, yes, but the quality just wasn’t there.read more
