Very poor communication, unreliable. after 6 days of no progress for repairs/inspection the vehicle ended up being... taken to another repairer via tow truck after being mucked around. The staff didn't even know where our car was at one stage when enquiring about the progress! Even though it was "sitting" in their yard! 1/5 star.read more

My insurance company allocated MotorOne to repair my car. I was given a 2 week ETA for completion when I first dropped... it off. The ETA was changed without a phone call from MotorOne. Communication with me as the car progressed was non-existent. I called every 2nd day to get updates on my car and I spoke to the SAME MotorOne representative every time. The day before I went to collect, I called to get the all-clear that my car was ready, I was informed that it was on track for collection. Collection day: I called in the morning to get an idea of the time for collection, and they said they would call me. I hadn't heard anything all day. I called again at 1630 to see if the car was ready? They said it wasn't and would have to wait the following day. So I arrive mid-morning the following day, one of the staff walked me to my car to find a part of my rear window missing! The member of staff who took me to my car pointed it out and said that the part was on back order - remember I had called every 2nd day for updates - not at one point, did the staff inform me of this. I was told that it would take 4-6 weeks and it would only take the time in which I could enjoy a hot bevy for them to install it. Now I am not local, so I was far from rapt about a 45min trip one way for them to complete a task that would only take 10-15 mins, only for me to get in the car for another 45mins. I do not recommend MotorOne based on a lack of clear communication with the client alone. Sadly, I can't think of anything they could have done, after the fact, to improve my situation. But for the sake of your future customers, focus on staff learning to better communicate with your customers - if the customer has to chase you up, it won't go well for you.read more

Have recently had two cars repaired by Phil and the friendly team. Really happy with the results and was far better... value than another quote we got. They even went the extra mile and cut and polished the light covers on an older car that had become really cloudy with age - made them as new and was a free addition to the original scope of work.
